Hola! And welcome to Juans Cuban Cuisine! I'm Juan, a veteran of the US Coast Guard, where I dedicated more than a decade to serving my country as a rescue swimmer. While my military career was fulfilling, my true passion has always been food. My wife, Nicole, has been my biggest fan and supporter. She is a dedicated nurse at the local hospital where she has spent the last 4 years supporting and caring for the community. We're a team, bound by our shared appreciation for good food and the bond we've built over the years.

 

In 2019, it was time for a new chapter, which in turn brought us to the small island of Sitka. This move brought more to our lives than we could have ever imagined. With its breathtaking natural beauty and close-knit community, Sitka felt like the perfect place to call home. Here, I've decided to pursue my culinary dreams and share my love for Cuban cuisine with our local town, and all willing to enjoy. I'm excited to start Juans Cuban Cuisine that will serve up the flavors of my heritage, and I can't wait to see the smiles on people's faces as they enjoy the dishes I pour my heart into. Our food trailer isn’t just about food; it’s about bringing our warmth and flavor to Sitka. As we serve up Cuban dishes with a side of adventure, we’re excited to see where this journey takes us!
